Great mesh. Strong enough to carry the heaviest of bean crops. A bit messy to try and store after use but cheap enough that i just buy a new pack each year.

I am worried about wildlife welfare as we have already had birds entangling themselves in the netting on our fruit cage. It is very stressful for both them and me to free them and I don’t want to have to go through this again! Is this netting wildlife safe and if not would you consider sourcing something that is? Also is there a plastic-free alternative you could source? Thank you!

Hi Felicity This particular netting is quite wide and i personally have never had any issues with birds getting tangled in it. If it was a tighter mesh then i could see how that would happen. But on your main point of alternatives we have a Jute netting which is excellent. Just put the word Jute in the search bar and you will find it Niall Quickcrop

Important Delivery & Stock Information March 2021

Delivery Times

We will be operating our business as usual over the coming months as thankfully, current lockdown measures haven't required us to close our warehouses. Delivery times have been impacted over the year with the increase in online shopping putting immense strain on all couriers. We expect to have your order dispatched within 7-10 working days and delivery should be within 2-4 working days after this. This translates to 2 - 3 weeks for delivery and we are working very hard on reducing this time frame and will update here as soon as we can.

Out of Stock Products

Going through our site, you may notice many products are marked out of stock, this is only a temporary measure to enable our warehousing department to catch up with re-stocking and to train in new staff. We estimate a return to normalcy over the next two weeks so check back soon for your favourite products.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience which may have been caused due to Covid-19 and very much appreciate your patience during this time. Some of our customers had delays in receiving their orders in a timely manner but thankfully 99% of orders got through on schedule.

Contacting Us

Unless 15 working days (3 weeks) have elapsed since you placed your order please try to avoid contacting the office for delivery information as answering queries further slows packing. The Exception to this is our raised ponds which will take two weeks to be dispatched from our warehouse and and delivered to you. Of course if you have received a damaged item, are missing something or are over the 10 day lead time please feel free to email us at enquiry@quickcrop.ie and we will respond quickly, usually within the hour.
