Pack of 10 bare root Rosa Rugosa Rubra, a traditional shrub rose with red/magenta petals arranged around a yellow centre. Rosa Rugosa Rubra makes a beautiful informal hedge or can be inter planted in new or existing hedges to add colour and provide food for birds in winter.
This large rose will form a thick hedge, prickly and impenetrable and covered in pretty pinkie white single roses; flowering period is July to August. This tough shrubby rose is ideal for coastal planting. The roses will be followed in autumn by rose hips which are attractive to wild birds.
Light formative pruning is all that is required.
