Squash 'Crown Prince F1'

This is now the only squash we grow as it has the best flavour. It grows well outside and stores very well if dried or cured well. We are looking forward to this years crop.

Ordering and delivery easy and quick. Seeds are large but there are only 5 seeds, which I don't think is in the description information. Having sow various squash and pumpkin in our allotment we found this variety, crown prince , as the best flavoured variety. They do last ,uncut, for months and can also be cut and flesh frozen.

We have grown various pumpkin and squash but for growing fairly easily and definitely for taste we are just sticking with this variety for 2024

Produced a fantastic crop of approximately three massive squash per plant. Stores very well when well cured. Very good flavour when roasted. Requires a large growing area.
