Description
Cosmos must be the one of the best value cut flowers as they are so prolific; they produce masses of flower heads over a very long picking period. In terms of colour, they can't be matched either with many pretty and cheerful tones that work well solo or when matched with other plants in a cut flower dsiplay. Each plant will yield multiple blooms, more if the growing tip is pinched out once 3 sets of true leave have grown.
Our ultimate cosmos cut flower seedling packs includes 8 varieties in a pack of 42 plants. The selection offers variation in both colour and shape with white, apricot, rose, yellow and dusky red floweras as well as single, double and pleated petals. Please be aware that equal parts of seed is mixed before sowing so, while all varieties will be represented in the tray, we can't give seedling numbers for each.
The varieties are as follows and are in the same order as displayed in the image carousel above: 'Apricot lemonade', 'Apricotta', 'Cupcakes blush', 'Crest sunset', 'Fizzy rose picotee', 'Fizzy white', 'Rubenza' and 'Crest gold'.
Grow in full sun in moist but well drained soil. Plant seedlings 30 cm apart.
