Description
Cosmos Bipinnatus ‘Apricotta’ is a upright, half-hardy, annual with soft-apricot coloured flowers that fade into a pink/peach colour. Whether growing in containers, beds, borders or cottage gardens these flowers are super easy-to-grow and need very little maintenance. Suited to well drained soil and full sun they are perfect for sunny borders or containers or used as cut-flowers. Great at attracting vital pollinators like bees and butterflies.

Sowing

Deadheading
- Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
- Cut back to the first leaf below the flower head.
Harvesting/Cutting
- Harvest when buds are coloured but not open. This prolongs their vase life and protects them from insects.
- When cutting in summer, trim down about a third of the plant to encourage an autumn display.
