Description
'Blue Boy' is a medium sized dinner-plate dahlia type with softly coloured lilac blue flowers of around 20 cm in diameter. It is a decorative variety with full double flowers and rounded petals which will flower in late summer and early autumn. As the flower heads mature, the colour changes from shades of purple through to a soft, dusky blue.
Flowers are produced on sturdy 80 - 100cm stems making 'Blue Boy' another good dahlia for cut flowers where it looks beautiful mixed with almost any other colour but particularly with pinks, purples, silvers and blues.
