Perle von Nurnburg is a stunning classic echeveria. The elegantly shaped leaves are tinted with pink and purple tones making this one of the most eye catching and sought after echeveria varieties.
Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Echeveria Perle von Nurnberg is a beautiful plant with blue/green leaves highlighted with soft pink and purple tones at the centre of the plant. Flowers are produced in Summer if conditions are suitable, the blooms are coral pink with yellow interiors raised above the plant on 30cm stems. The rosettes can grow to 20cm wide and contain rounded and pointed leaves with fantastic colours, this plant is an absolute stunner.
Echeveria need a free draining soil mix. Plants don’t like being too wet so keep on the dry side, the best method is to soak periodically letting the mix dry completely between waterings. They will be happiest in full sun to partial shade but avoid drastic changes e.g. in a south facing window in summer. In winter put them in the brightest window in your home. Remove any dead leaves from the base of the plant as they can be a haven for pests or fungal disease which may kill the plant.
Echeveria are easily propagated from leaves or stem cuttings.
