Description
This aromatic perennial herb is a fragrant variety of mint mostly used in tea. Grown in our nursery it comes well established and ready to pot on.
We recommend keeping in pots or containers as it spreads quickly. Place in part-shade with moist soil.
Pinch out regularly to encourage growth. Like basil pinch above a pair of leaves. When harvesting you can remove up to 2/3 of the plant.
Mint can be useful to deter pests.
This variety is primarily used in tea and has a spearmint-like flavour. It can also be used for mint sauce and jelly.
This plant comes in a P9 pot and is ready to plant out. P9 pots are 9cm in diameter and are commonly used by professional horticulturists.
It can also be purchased as part of our 'choose your own' herb products at a reduced price (see recommended products below).
