Description
Osmunda regalis provides shade and shelter and habitat for insects in summer.
This tall dramatic robust deciduous fern is noted for its form, rosettes of tall bright green fronds that emerge on purple stems. Produces a unique rust brown flowering spike. Fronds turn to autumnal shades of reddish brown prolonging the season of interest.
