Description
Grown fresh in our nursery, this plant is 8-10 weeks old when shipped to ensure it is well established. A biennial plant, it produces flat green leaves. In its second year it produces a tall flowering stem with yellow-green flowers. It grows best in moist, well drained soil in full sun.
With many culinary uses this variety of parsley has a stronger flavour to curly parsley. Used to make parsley sauce, chopped and added to stock, soups and meat dishes. It is also used to neutralize garlic odours in Mediterranean dishes like Salsa Verde. Also makes a great garnish. It contains vitamins A, C & E.
This plant comes in a P9 pot and is ready to plant out. P9 pots are 9cm in diameter and are commonly used by professional horticulturists.
