Description
This herb is a small bushy plant with purple-blue velvety leaves and purple flowers. Grown in our nursery for 8-10 weeks before shipping, it is young but has well established roots.
The flowers bloom all summer and are great at attracting bees. From the mint family, it is quite drought tolerant and can handle poor soil but requires full sun. It makes for a great ornamental plant.
The leaves are commonly used in stuffing, roasts and sausages and the leaves are used the same way as normal sage.
This plant comes in a P9 pot and is ready to plant out. P9 pots are 9cm in diameter and are commonly used by professional horticulturists.
It can also be purchased as part of our 'choose your own' herb products at a reduced price (see recommended products below).
