Please Note: If ordering worms with a Hungry Bin or Subpod, the worms come direct from our worm growers so they will not arrive together. We try to co-ordinate that they arrive as close together as possible but don't panic. The worms will last in the box and compost they are in for over a week. So also no major rush in getting your Hungry Bin set up if that is what you are using them for. If you are not putting your worms in your compost bin straight away please store them in the bag they arrive in in a cool place like a shed and out of sunlight
The Worm Farm we partner with are all about quality so they only dispatch Monday to Wednesday to ensure worms don't get stuck in a courier warehouse over the weekend. So if you order anytime up to Wednesday lunchtime you will receive your worms the same week. Worms order between Thursday and Sunday will dispatch Monday for Tuesday delivery. All worm deliveries are carried by Fastway couriers. We don't have the option of offering other couriers on worms
500 gram pack of composting worms for use in the 'Hungry Bin' wormery. 500G is approx 450-500 worms of a selected size for optimal composting and longevity in your bin. The 500 gram pack can also be used to re-start a disused Worm Works wormery or any other worm farm.
We recommend starting a compost bin with 1kg of worms which will allow the bin to establish quickly and lead to great compost. The 500g pack is ideal for small compost bins/wormeries or for topping up a Hungry Bin
