    Coir planter compost

It may not be a lifesaver, but it is a real back saver. Having to transport a pallet load of conventional compost along a 500m muddy boreen to my house by wheelbarrow is hard work! This compost not only lightens the load but has also enabled consistently reliable germination.

    Coir Planter Compost

I love this product for making up my own peat free compost. I've been buying it from Quickcrop for the last two years and I find it consistently reliable.

Good, but not easy to rehydrate

This turned out to be a nice light textured compost, but it was much more difficult to rehydrate than other coconut coir I've worked with in the past. I bought 2 packs, put them in a wheelbarrow with water and after 2 days, one pack had barely absorbed any water. I had to break it up by hand which took ages and made for some sore hands.
