I still have this available to eat in the garden, from last year's sowing. It never fails, and is great for the winter and spring, when not much else is available

Does it grow well in a polytunnel and if so, when would you plant it?

Hi Rita. You can grow Kale in the polytunnel and can sow it in early April depending on the temp in the tunnel (the soil needs to be around 10 degrees). Kale is very hardy and will be very happy outside though so I think if it was me I would use my tunnel for warmth loving Summer crops and plant my kale outdoors. I hope this helps. Andrew
