In a nutshell....
Coconut fibre 'biscuits' impregnated with mycorrhizal fungi which increase the root area on tomato plants and grow healthier plants with increased yields.
Rootgrow Empathy Tomato Starter biscuits are the perfect way to get the absolute best from your tomatoes, salads and vegetables. Easy to Use. Use when planting in grow bags, pots or in the open ground. Each 'biscuit' is impregnated with beneficial mycorrhizal fungi spores but also includes gro-char and seaweed meal to give your tomato plants an excellent head start. The mycorrhizal fungi will also increase the plant feed uptake ability of the roots resulting in healthier plants and higher yields.
Application: When planting your tomato plant, simply place the tomato starter biscuits in the base of the hole, cover lightly with soil or compost and then continue to plant as normal and water well. Tomato starter can also be used when planting into soil outdoors.
Single pots up to 3 litres use 1 biscuit For larger pots use 1 biscuit per 5 litres of compost For Growbags or for outdoor use, use 1 biscuit per young plant. The Tomato Starter is a biscuit formed from compressed coir fibre derived from sustainable coconut processing and is peat free. The biscuit contains a range of active biology and slow release balanced fertilisers to help get the plants vigorously through the early weeks of life. When watered the biscuit swells up to 5 times its original size and all the beneficial microbes will start to grow, bringing the compost to life.
