Description
A compact herb plant producing bright green leaves with a lime fragrance. Similarly they will add a refreshing citrus-y quality to dishes or summer salads, as well as that familiar sweet basil taste.
Lime Basil grows to about 40cm tall and is suitable for cut-and-come-again picking. It's endlessly versatile: add the leaves to a gin & tonic, pick early to use as microgreens, or alternatively the leaves can be dried and steeped to make a relaxing herbal tea.
