Description
This is a heavier weight garden fleece (38 gsm), which is protective down to about -4° C.
The material is spun from filaments of polypropylene and is ideally suited to garden and horticultural uses. It is permeable so lets air, water, sunlight and nutrients through while still protecting against cold temperatures.
Tips:
- The fleece can be draped over a hooped frame or (loosely) draped directly over crops or vegetable beds. Pegs, pins or large stone can be used to weigh down the fleece around the edges.
- Attach to panes inside a greenhouse for heat insulation.
- During very cold weather you can double up layers for extra insulation.
