Organic Nutrient Rich Seed Compost
Klasmann is a premium quality organic seed compost, specially formulated for seed germination thanks to its extra fine particle size. This compost is used in professional seedling production and is known for consistently delivering excellent results. It is intentionally lower in nutrients compared to multipurpose compost, which creates the ideal environment for seed germination and the early stages of growth. Although it is on the pricier side, the exceptional quality of Klasmann compost ensures a higher success rate with your seeds, making it a worthwhile investment for serious gardeners.
Delivery is Kerbside delivery. We don't guarantee the bag can be left within the boundary of your property. If we can't access your driveway the bag will be left at the closest point possible.
The soil is delivered in cubic metre bags placed on a wooden pallet. The soil can only go as close to your site as the hand operated pallet truck allows. The truck is not equipped with a grab so bags cannot be lifted over walls or hedges.
While the delivery driver will do his best to get the bag as close as he can to your property he is unable to move the bag over kerbs, up an incline or on loose gravel surfaces. Remember the bag is extremely heavy and once off the truck is moved by the effort of the driver alone.
Truck Sizes – It is important to note that our Delivery trucks can be quite large. If you are expecting them to be able to get through your gate the gate will need to be at least 3.5 metres wide
Your laneway would have to have overhead coverage of minimum 5metres with no overhanging trees or cables. The trucks are 18 tonne Rigid trucks that are 12m long, 2.5m wide and 4.1m high.

IMPORTANT: If you refuse delivery because of an access issue to your property which we have not been made aware of beforehand, your order will be refunded less a €55.00 collection charge per bulk bag. Please read the above delivery info carefully to avoid any misunderstanding.
