Description
Permatex is a heavy duty weed control fabric. It provides excellent weed suppression without any need for herbicides or spraying.
The material is flat-woven geotextile fabric, manufactured from strong, fibrillated polypropylene tape. Similar in appearance to Mypex, it has a black colour with blue lines.
Permatex fabric has a water permeability of 10 L/m²/second - meaning no water puddling and good subsoil moisture levels.
Permatex ground cover can also be used as a ground separator membrane in construction or landscaping, or as a ground stabiliser.
Applications:
- Use to suppress weeds in the garden, polytunnel or greenhouse
- Use under garden paths, patios or block paving
- Under decking - with or without a mulch
- Under MOT Type 1, Type 3 aggregate, sharp or angular stone and gravel
- Road, car park & driveway construction
- UV stabilised.
- Has a 25 year lifespan when covered with a mulch or gravel.
