Ridan's composters are designed to be an evironmentally friendly solution to food waste, diverting organic waste from landfill while allowing you to create your own nourishing compost.
The Ridan Compost Box 10 can handle food waste for up to 10 people (processing a maximum of 35 litres a week), which makes it a suitable composter for large households, small businesses, community groups or allotments.
Despite its large size, the clever hexagonal design ensures that the unit is rigid and sturdy. 3cm thick foam casing inside the compost box allows rapid thermal composting to take place at any time of year.
Feed the Ridan compost box with plenty of organic waste and you can have homemade, peat-free compost in as little as three months: however, the longer you leave it to mature the more high-quality and nutritious the finished compost will be.
There are a total of three harvesting hatches for accessing your compost at the base of the unit, while a spacious hatch at the top allows you to easily add organic waste.

Any biodegradable waste can be added to the Ridan compost box, including meat, fish and cooked food waste.
