Description
The classic bee and butterfly friendly plants, like most sedums 'Purple Emperor' is a very valuable late source of nectar for pollinators, particularly butterflies. Dead flowers also provide shelter and habitat in the winter months before they are cut back in Spring.
The succulent foliage is an excellent coloured deep purple to bronze and produces large flower head of deep pink in late summer. Flowers are long lasting and attractive to bees and butterflies, a good source of late nectar.
