With bigger particle size and more nutrients than seed compost, this peat-free compost is ideal for transplanting your young seedlings into bigger pots.
This growing medium contains a mix of coir fibres, green waste and wood fibres: this gives a balanced structure promoting vigorous growth and healthy root development.
Made with sustainable ingredients and is peat free.
Approximate contents:
55% Organic coir (coconut pith).
20% High Quality Compost from green waste.
25% Composted Wood Fibre.
Klasmann composts are suitable for organic growing.
Coverage: Approx. 2-3 large containers (35-40cm diameter) per bag
pH: Approx. 5.5 to 6.5 (slightly acidic to neutral)
Instructions
Application Rates & Coverage:
Fill containers, leaving 3-5cm below the rim for watering. A standard 30cm pot holds approximately 15-18 litres (roughly one quarter of a 70L bag). Top-dress established containers with 3-5cm of fresh compost each spring rather than full repotting every year.
