In a nutshell....

Polytunnel tape is polythene repair tape also suitable for general repair jobs. It is most commonly used for repairing tears in polytunnels and growhouses or cloches, but can also be used for patching up greenhouses. Available in 3 sizes: 50mm Wide x 10m, 50mm Wide x 33m, and 75mm Wide x 33m

Polythene Repair Tape

Polytunnel tape is for repairing rips and tears in polytunnels and other plastic or glass structures. Use it to fix a patch of polytunnel without having to replace all of the polythene cover, it can also be a quick fix for cracked glass or plastic in a greenhouse. The tape itself has very good UV and humidity resistance and excellent tolerance to low and high temperatures. If you have a large tunnel the wider 75mm tape makes much more sense. To be honest the narrower tape is fine for small holes but if you are dealing with larger holes having the 75mm width makes a huge difference in holding the plastic together. Speaking from experience on that one.

Hi Christine We have a yard in Lucan in Dublin however this is only for our heavy goods. The majority of our stock is held in our main warehouse in Sligo and then we have a base in the North or Ireland and UK also. Delivery is only 3.95 but you are welcome to call in to our Sligo warehouse if you like. Niall Quickcrop

Delivery Times

We will be operating our business as usual over the coming months as thankfully, current lockdown measures haven't required us to close our warehouses. Delivery times have been impacted over the year with the increase in online shopping putting immense strain on all couriers. Thankfully we are almost back to normal. We expect to have your order dispatched within 2 working days. Please allow 1-2 days after dispatch for delivery.

Out of Stock Products

Going through our site, you may notice many products are marked out of stock, this is only a temporary measure to enable our warehousing department to catch up with re-stocking and to train in new staff. We estimate a return to normalcy over the next two weeks so check back soon for your favourite products.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience which may have been caused due to Covid-19 and very much appreciate your patience during this time. Some of our customers had delays in receiving their orders in a timely manner but thankfully 99% of orders got through on schedule.

Contacting Us

Unless 5 working days have elapsed since you placed your order please try to avoid contacting the office for delivery information as answering queries further slows packing. The Exception to this is our raised ponds which will take two weeks to be dispatched from our warehouse and and delivered to you. Of course if you have received a damaged item, are missing something or are over the 5 day lead time please feel free to email us at support@quickcrop.com and we will respond as quickly as possible. Due to high volumes of queries it can take up to one working day for a reply. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

 

Standard Quickcrop deliveries only €3.95.

Standard delivery €3.95 - Our standard delivery rate is €3.95 and covers all goods except raised beds and some selected heavy items. €3.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of items ordered.

Allotment raised beds €5.95 - Allotment style raised beds carry a delivery of €5.95 per complete order. €5.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of allotment raised beds or additional items ordered.

Premier/Deluxe raised beds €9.95 - Premier or Deluxe raised beds carry a delivery of €9.95 per complete order. €9.95 is the total delivery price irrespective of the number of raised beds or additional items ordered.

Bulky Items €9.95 - Some large items (e.g. compost bins) carry a delivery charge of €9.95. Any items that carry the large item surcharge will be clearly marked on the product page.

European deliveries outside Ireland
We also deliver to the UK and other European countries, please see our delivery rates below. Our flat delivery rate is an absolute bargain and is far cheaper than any of our competitors, please take this into account when comparing product prices.

Where do we deliver to?
We deliver nationwide to the island of Ireland, the U.K., Austria, Benelux Countries, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland. Please see our delivery rates below:

€12.95 - The United Kingdom (Highlands and Islands may incur a surcharge, please contact us at support@quickcrop.com for details)

€14.95 - Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland.

How long does it take?
Stock permitting we aim to dispatch your goods within 2 working days of receiving your order. The average time taken from order to delivery is 4 - 5 days for Irish and UK orders, and up to 8 working days for other European destinations.

What If I'm not in at time of delivery?
The driver will leave a note with the depot contact number. Delivery can be arranged for the next day or a later date.

I'm ordering several items, do they all arrive at the same time?
All items dispatched at the same time will normally be delivered in one delivery. The exceptions are bulk bags of soil or compost which comes in a separate delivery using a different delivery company. Seedlings will be dispatched directly from our tunnels.

What if my parcel is damaged or I wish to return the goods I have ordered?
Contact our office at support@quickcrop.com and we will arrange collection and refund or replacement of faulty or damaged goods.

If you wish to return goods for any reason other than damaged or faulty items please return the item to us at the following address and we will issue a refund minus the delivery charge. Goods must be undamaged and in their original packaging. Please take care when parceling returned goods to ensure it reaches us in good condition.
