Description
This classic horsefly trap design visually mimics a common target for horseflies. A heat-absorbing black ball is hung below a funnel. Both the heat and the shape of the trap lure the horsefly in. They then tend to fly upwards and get trapped, drowning in the container (which you fill with a sweet liquid).
The horsefly trap uses no power (it's heated by the sun) and is pesticide-free. Place in a strategic position where you get plenty of sunlight.
This trap can effectively capture horseflies within an area of approximately 100 m2
Ideal for paddocks, stable environments, gardens, terraces, camping, golf courses, parks and so on.
Liquid not included
Height not over 180 cm and not under 100 cm (lower edge of the ball).
Place at a minimum of 10-20m from residence.
